Coaching Requirements

 

Please see the BC Hockey info sheet Click Here to find out what coaching certifications you require based on the team you are coaching. If you are unsure if you meet the requirements, please contact the coach coordinator at and they will look up your profile and let you know.

Additional Requirements

 

In addition to the above mentioned coaching clinics, the following items are also required before any team official, including coaches, may interact with the kids on the team:

Reimbursement of Clinics

 

Receipts for all coach specific coaching clinics are to be submitted to the coach coordinator at . Receipts must be a complete copy or screenshot showing the coaches name and the full amount paid, including taxes. The coach coordinator will submit the receipt to the treasurer for reimbursement once the clinic has been completed and the information has been uploaded to the Hockey Canada Registry

 

Reimbursement for CRC, RIS & CATT is done at the team level. Receipts are to be submitted to the team treasurer and must be a complete copy or screenshot showing the coaches name and the full amount paid, including taxes. Prior to registering for any of these clinics, check with the risk manager as a payment code may be available and the clinic may be able to be done at no cost. Note that SRTH is free to take
